GSA Morgan Dollars

GSA Morgan dollars, also known as GSA Hoard dollars, were coins sold by the General Services Administration (GSA) in the 1970s to dispose of the surplus of uncirculated Morgan dollars held in the government's treasury supply. The GSA hoard consisted of Morgan silver dollars minted between 1878 and 1904. These coins were originally stored in hard plastic cases, known as GSA holders, and they come with a certificate of authenticity.
